The Malaysian Advertising and LED Show is currently a large-scale, highly influential and professional exhibition event in Malaysia. It has been successfully held for 28 sessions and has been approved by the Ministry of Foreign Trade Development of Malaysia. The Malaysian International Advertising & Digital Printing Exhibition covers advertising, advertising production materials, LED, neon signs and display, exhibitions, and various professional fields such as wire mesh, trademarks and printing equipment, machinery equipment, technology and materials.
In 2017 Malaysia Advertising Exhibition and LED Lighting, Rubber and Plastic Packaging Exhibition held in the same period, there are 416 companies exhibiting, exhibiting an area of over 15,000 square meters. During the exhibition, a total of 1,021 professional trade visitors came from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and other countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The audience mainly came from the decision-making layers of advertising and printing planning, design, production, and agency companies. And various production companies, operating companies, social groups, government agencies, public places and other advertising printing industry related departments. In 2017, our company organized more than 30 Chinese exhibitors to participate in the exhibition. 86% of the companies have achieved good results, and exhibitors have scheduled the next exhibition site.
With the development of economy, Malaysia's advertising industry has maintained a rapid growth momentum in recent years. Due to the weak industrial foundation of the country, Malaysia is undoubtedly an important target market for the export of advertising products, digital printing equipment and materials in China, regardless of factors such as scale, demand or market prospects.
Malaysia is a founding member of ASEAN. Since 2002, ASEAN countries have started to build free trade zones and realize zero-tariff trade within the region. By 2013, Malaysia had signed bilateral free trade agreements (FTAs) with Japan, Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Chile and Australia. In 2014, the total trade volume between Malaysia and China reached US$102 billion. Malaysia has maintained China’s position as a large trading partner of ASEAN countries for seven consecutive years. Malaysia has become the third Asian country that has exceeded 100 billion U.S. dollars in bilateral trade volume with China after Japan and South Korea.
As an entrepot trade country, Malaysia plays an important role in Southeast Asia and ASEAN. Its distance from West Asia, South Asia, and Europe, the United States, and Africa are relatively close, and the relationship is relatively close. In addition, close proximity to the “Golden Waterway” Malacca Strait has made Malaysia a unique transportation advantage.
