Northeast U.S. Fast-Casual Chain Adopts eTouchMenu

2016-05-25

Blazing Onion, the Lynnwood, Washington-based fast-casual restaurant chain, chooses Edina, Minnesota-based eTouchMenu to launch its digital menu platform across all seven of the eatery's regional locations in the upper Northeast U.S., starting with its location in Gig Harbor, Maine.

The digital menu platform was chosen because it is compatible with Android, Windows and Apple devices, and it delivers increased menu customization options, improved check averages and dessert sales and enhances the overall customer experience, according to Blazing Onion co-founder David Jones.

“We're a ‘yes’ company in the fact that we let people customize their orders as much as possible. We didn't want our iPads to say ‘no’ when our policy was to say ‘yes,’ and we wanted a digital menu company that would say ‘yes’ to our needs as well,” says Jones. “eTouchMenu really fits in with our brand culture. I think it's one of the coolest things out there.”

Guests using eTouchMenu can either use it in a self-guided way or restaurant staff can walk the guest through the ordering process. The self-check-out feature uses a secure payment processing platform to ensure guests' security.

“While there are other ‘menu technologies’ out there, ours is the most comprehensive, flexible and dynamic,” says Scott Morrow, eTouchMenu's CEO. “This is because other platforms have focused solely on gamification while we have focused on the entire dining experience.”
