New York City-based CIVIQ Smartscapes, a builder of smart media infrastructure that's used in digital out-of-home networks and transit system and municipal Wi-Fi installations— among other applications—announces the acquisition of Toronto-based Vertigo Digital Displays, a designer, engineer and manufacturer of integrated digital display solutions.
CIVIQ Smartscapes designs and delivers connected urban infrastructure technologies worldwide. It says the acquisition of Vertigo is aligned with its strategy of expanding capabilities and capturing Smart City opportunities around the world.
In March, Civiq acquired Chicago-based Elevate Digital, an interactive digital software and signage company.
Vertigo will continue its operations in Toronto as CIVIQ.
