Alpharetta, Georgia-based paper products manufacturer Neenah Paper announces the appointment of William M. Cook to its board of directors.

Cook replaces Edward Grzedzinski, whose retirement was announced earlier this year.

Cook was previously chairman and CEO of Donaldson Company Inc., a technology-driven global company that manufacturers filtration systems to remove contaminants from air and liquids. Prior to that, Cook held various senior leadership roles at Donaldson, including chief financial officer, senior vice president–international, and senior vice president–commercial and industrial. Cook is also a director of IDEX Corp. and Valspar Corp.

On the Neenah board he will be serving on the audit committee.
