UK-based South East Drawing Office (SEDO), a distributor of wide-format printers, scanners, finishing equipment, software and related materials, has been chosen by Belgium-based Agfa Graphics to be a part of the printer manufacturer's UK sales channel.

Under the agreement, SEDO will become a distributor for Agfa's Anapurna range of wide-format printers. It was SEDO's experience with businesses in the public sector that particularly attracted Agfa, it says.

“The diversity of print needs in the public sector is expanding,”says Andy McGuinness, director of SEDO.“Our clients in government, educational and technical print departments have signaled to us that they need to move beyond plan printing and CAD into new production areas. As a result, they're looking to bring back out-sourcing costs for internal and external signage, or exhibitions, which is driving demand for hybrid and flat-bed wide-format printers in equal measure.”
