Findlay, Ohio-based engraving substrate manufacturer Rowmark and its custom division, Premier Material Concepts—or PMC—announces that it has completed recertification of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Rowmark says it is the only engravable plastic sheet manufacturer that adheres to the requirements of ISO 9001.
ISO 9001 requires certification by an independent, accredited auditor. It means that Rowmark continues to implement business processes and procedures that ensure the highest quality performance in all aspects of the quality management system.
Rowmark first received ISO 9001 certification in December 2004. The most important aspect of ISO certification is striving for continuous improvement in processes and product quality standards to meet and exceed customers’ expectations, and the company has once again achieved that, it says.
ISO 9001 (International Organization for Standardization) is the world’s most widely used standard for quality management systems and is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies.
