Golden, Colorado-based laser manufacturer Epilog Laser announces the opening of its new European support center in the Netherlands to expand its international presence. Located in Houten, Epilog Laser BV celebrated its grand opening with an open house event at the end of October.

According to company officials, the facility houses machine inventory as well as technical support resources to better serve customers and distributors in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa).

Day-to-day operations at the new support center will be overseen by Epilog Laser BV general manager Richard van Densen. With an extensive background in the laser and optic industry, van Densen has managed channels for both European and American companies. Martin Monrooij, technical support manager, will manage all technical support needs for Epilog's distributors in the EMEA region. Monrooji has worked for a variety of European companies, overseeing the technical support groups in these positions. Office manager Naima Yaakoubi will act as the main contact for distributor marketing support. Yaakoubi has extensive experience supporting international sales, marketing and customer support teams.
