DOOH campaign shares selfies on billboards

Creative Chatter Communities' new digital out-of-home (DOOH) public service announcement (PSA) campaign, Face of Giving, is sharing people's selfie photos on billboards around the world to help raise funds for non-profit organizations.

Visitors to the campaign's website (www.faceofgiving.org) can upload their selfie for a minimum donation of $5.99 U.S. The selfies began being displayed on digital billboards across the U.S. on Dec. 5. As the campaign progresses, they will also appear in Canada, Europe and the Philippines, thanks to the involvement of Lamar Advertising, Adams Outdoor, Canadian Digital Network (CDN) and JCDecaux.

“Creative Chatter provides a simple, effective platform to connect non-profits with people in need and we are excited to partner with them,” says Allie McAlpin, Lamar's communications director. “This campaign is an example of how we're leveraging technology to connect with consumers on a deeper level.”
