Fremont, California-based EFI, a large-format printer manufacturer that also makes corresponding software, recently celebrated the opening of its new East Coast facility, in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
The 250,000-square-foot facility on 17 acres will house manufacturing, R&D, warehousing, training and more, and is about 25 percent larger than its former facility in nearby Meredith. The site employs approximately 300 people.
EFI’s CEO, Guy Gecht, flew in for the ribbon cutting ceremony and says he’s excited about the new site, calling New Hampshire “the Silicon Valley of inkjet.”
The Eagle Tribune of North Andover, Massachusetts, just north of Boston, covers that region and reporter Julie Huss attended the grand opening along with photographer Tim Jean.
