Carrollton, Texas-based sign shop franchisor FASTSIGNS announces that it has formed a partnership with inkjet printer manufacturer Epson to begin offering that company’s SureColor S60600 roll-to-roll solvent printer to all its franchisees.

In a deal that just took effect May 1, all 600 franchisees in the FASTSIGNS network will be able to integrate the high-speed, high-production printers into their centers. So far just three have the new printer installed while another 33 new FASTSIGNS are expected to open this year with it.

“After undergoing an extensive selection process, we made the decision to travel to Epson’s headquarters in Japan to see the design and manufacturing capabilities firsthand,” says FASTSIGNS International’s director of tech and supply chain, Brian Boehm. “In addition to the attainable price point offered by the Epson SureColor S60600, we were incredibly impressed by the updated technology the printer offers, making it a true workhorse, which we know all of our franchisees will enjoy.”

The 64-inch SureColor S60600 features newly-developed Epson UltraChrome GS3 4-color solvent ink. When combined with an all-new precision media feeding system and a high-performance Dual-Array PrecisionCore TFP print head, the SureColor S60600 is capable of producing sellable-quality banner at 550 feet-per-hour, while also producing adhesive vinyl output at up to 310 feet per hour.
