Agfa Graphics has won a 2016 European Digital Press (EDP) Award for its 2.7-m (8.8-ft) wide Jeti Mira ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) flatbed inkjet printer, which is manufactured in Mississauga, Ont.

The Jeti Mira, which can reportedly produce up to 227 m2 (2,443 sf) of graphics per hour and offers optional roll-to-roll (RTR) printing for flexible substrates, won in the EDP Association's award category for ‘best wide-format flatbed/hybrid printer up to 250 m2 (2,691 sf) per hour.'The Jeti Tauro was also nominated this year.

The EDP Association's technical committee recognizes the best products introduced each year to the European market. The awards are based not only on product quality, but also on user support and service.
