Findlay, Ohio-based GoVivid, a division of Rowmark LLC that offers direct-to-substrate, UV-LED digital printers and associated products such as inks, printable materials and accessories, announces a technology partnership with Rocky Hill, Connecticut-based Direct Color Systems (DCS) to offer DCS small-format, direct-to-substrate UV-LED inkjet printers.

GoVivid will host a series of Technology Showcases introducing the DCS equipment across the U.S. for customers interested in learning more about adding UV-LED print technology to their business. GoVivid will continue to offer its own Breeze and Wave models, and with the addition of the DCS product line, it now claims to have the industry's widest selections of small format UV-LED printers available to the market.

According to the GoVivid press release announcing the partnership, DCS is a world leader in the engineering and manufacturing of UV-LED printers, having pioneered the printer's ability to produce ADA-compliant Braille signage that complies with federal ADA guidelines. The latest innovation from DCS comes with the introduction of its first-ever direct-to-garment printer for light colored cotton, cotton blends, and 100 percent synthetics without the need for pretreatment.
