Rochester,New York-based ID Signsystems,a full-service sign shop that focuses on the health care, corporate,campus and retail markets,is benefitting from its purchase of a new Agfa printer by being able to keep more work in-house,the company's president says.
Paul Dudley says that in deciding to purchase a new printer, his team reviewed a variety of options before settling on the Anapurna M2540,a high-speed,flatbed,UV-curable inkjet model.
“We felt that the Anapurna was closest to the type of work we do on a regular basis,”Dudley tells Sign & Digital Graphics.
ID Signsystems designs,fabricates and installs interior and exterior sign solutions including modular systems,solar signs,wayfinding systems and communication boards for a regional,national,and international clientele.Substrates it regularly uses include metal,plastic and wood.
“We're architectural sign makers at heart,”Dudley says.
Founded in 2005,ID Signsystems now has 48 employees and serves a regional,national and international clientele.
Aside from the new Anapurna,some of the other equipment on the shop floor are Universal Lasers,an Accu-Bend letter former,a Matthews Paint system and a Roland cutter system.
