The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces that the Topeka, Kansas-based Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) has joined the group as an SGP Resource Partner.
SGP Resource Partners are sustainability and subject matter experts who insure the printing industry is empowered with on-target and current thinking, the nonprofit says. SGP Resource Partners include a diverse group of organizations, from industry trade associations to educational institutions and non-government organizations, all striving to provide information and resources to help create a more sustainable print industry.
“FSEA believes promoting sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices is very important as an association in the graphic arts industry,” says FSEA executive director Jeff Peterson. “Becoming more involved and supporting SGP will help us with this goal and provide guidelines to share with our membership.”
The FSEA is a resource and educational platform for print enhancement technologies such as foil stamping, embossing, cold foil, specialty coatings, laminates and laser cutting.
