Chicago-based specialty substrate provider GPA announces that its AlumiGraphics GRIP product has earned two new certifications for slip resistance and fire safety from Underwriters Laboratories.

The company says that the new certifications further prove this aluminum foil-based media for sidewalk and walkway surfaces provides assurance for safety, durability and reliability.

 A slip-resistant, non-flammable, reflective material, AlumiGraphics GRIP is designed for a variety of rigid walkway surfaces, ranging from brick to concrete. In addition to sidewalk and walkway graphics, it is also commonly used for entrance and vestibule graphics; signage for patios, courtyards and pools; parking space and curb markings; and sports venue marketing.
