Ventura, California-based SloanLED, a supplier of indoor and outdoor LED products, announces its joining of the Washington D.C.-based nonprofit Alliance to Save Energy, a group that promotes energy efficiency“to achieve a healthier economy, a cleaner environment and greater energy security.”
The company says that through the partnership, it looks to advance energy efficiency policy, connect with government officials and industry professionals, and access valuable energy efficiency resources.
“Joining the Alliance to Save Energy is a natural fit for SloanLED, we've been at the forefront of providing environmentally friendly LED light solutions for decades,”says Ervin Cash, president and CEO of SloanLED and an Alliance board member.“The relationships and partnerships we will form through our Alliance Associate membership are sure to benefit our company, but more importantly, we will further the greater mission of promoting energy efficiency to increase global energy security. We have much to offer in terms of LED innovation, industry knowledge, and engineering expertise.”
SloanLED is also a Shining Star sponsor of the Alliance's 24th annual Stars of Energy Efficiency awards dinner, the preeminent showcase for energy efficiency's most industrious advocates and innovators. This year's gala honors U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, among other recipients. such as Lockheed Martin and Staples. The event is Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington D.C.
