Astral Out of Home, a division of Bell Media, has been named the exclusive out-of-home (OOH) advertising operator for Toronto's Pearson International Airport, securing the rights for both in-terminal and non-terminal concessions.
The new long-term agreement will come into effect on August 29, allowing Astral to reach more than 41 million passengers per year at Canada's largest, busiest airport (pictured above). As part of the contract, the company will showcase its AeroTV digital signage platform (pictured below), which features entertainment programming from CTV, TSN and other Bell properties.
AeroTVAstral already has OOH agreements in place with the international airports of Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax.
“Our agreement with Pearson confirms our leadership in Canadian airport advertising by bringing the total number of travellers we reach to 87 million annually,”says Benjamin Mathieu, Astral's general manager (GM) for airports.
