A FastSigns International franchise in Charlottetown has installed a new 1.6-m (64-in.) wide Epson SureColor S40600 solvent-based inkjet printer from a division of Grimco in Dartmouth, N.S. It will be used to produce banners, decals and vehicle wraps.
The machine (pictured with co-franchisees Philip Zakem, left, and Ellery Richardson, right) offers greater speeds and higher quality previous models, allowing the shop to offer quicker turnarounds and better graphics than its competitors.
Epson introduced its SureColor S product line to the signage, vehicle graphics and fine art reproduction markets earlier this year. The S40600 is the entry-level model in the series and carries a media performance warranty for substrates from 3M and Avery Dennison.
