Pittsburgh-based HyperActive Technologies, makers of digital displays and drive-through digital signage, announces its name change to Acrelec America. The move comes four months after France-based Acrelec bought out HyperActive.
Acrelec claims to be the world's leading provider of digital solutions to restaurants, retailers and other global brands.
Acrelec America will serve the U.S., Canada and Latin America with self-order kiosks, indoor and outdoor digital displays, drive-through, curbside and gaming solutions. Products developed by HyperActive, such as QTimer, a drive-through time management tool, will now be sold globally.
“Acrelec is positioned to lead restaurant brands and retailers around the world as they embrace digital transformation as an essential part of their business model,” says Jacques Mangeot, founder and managing director of the Acrelec Group. “We're confident that our team of digital application specialists, hardware designers, software engineers and support staff in America are well qualified to meet the needs of the industry.”
