Alpharetta, Georgia-based Convergent, creators of a digital media platform that includes hardware, software and content management and distribution, announces what it says is the first “digital signage as a service” (DSaaS) program for digital out-of-home advertising companies.
The FusionDX Ad Network is an integrated cloud-based platform that provides a simple, scalable and flexible solution, according to the company. FusionDX automates all aspects of digital signage workflow, from content creation, approval, storage and management to network deployment, monitoring, case management and incidence resolution.
Convergent's service leverages FusionDX, an integrated cloud-based platform that provides the simplicity, scalability and flexibility necessary for customers to meet their objectives for growth. FusionDX automates all aspects of digital signage workflow – from content creation, approval, storage and management to network deployment, monitoring, case management and incident resolution.
“Until now, solutions for managing digital out-of-home networks have been fragmented and complex to scale, measure and support,” says Steve Schilling, Convergent's president. “FusionDX Ad Network is unique in that it offers a cloud-based, turnkey solution for developing and delivering digital signage from conception to implementation to results.”
The network allows organizations to shift digital signage from a capital expense to an operating expense tied to specific return-on-investment goals, Convergent says. It also gives networks the ability to target national, regional, local or on-site advertising in a specific ad block and insert ads into longer-form content without having to break up and modify it. The company also touts FusionDX's lower up-front capital expense to get started.
