The QMC Group—a consortium of printers in upstate New York near Syracuse—announces a partnership with Denver-based PrintReleaf, a software company that connects commercial printers with global reforestation projects.

PrintReleaf has developed a standard, methodology, and technology platform—PRX—that makes it easy for print service provider customers to certifiably track their paper consumption and to offset that consumption by funding global reforestation efforts. Under the partnership, The QMC Group provides its customers with the option of having trees planted equivalent to the paper used in their marketing project, thus ensuring their print job is, at a minimum, tree-neutral, if not tree-positive.
